Matthew J. Omolesky, Esq.

Matthew J. Omolesky, Esq. is a partner and co-founder of The Omolesky Law Firm, LLC, and is regularly licensed as an attorney and counselor at law in the State of Ohio. He is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and is a duly elected and enrolled member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Having received a Bachelor of Arts degree (magna cum laude) in Anthropology from Kenyon College, a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University’s Whitehead School of Diplomacy, and a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, Matthew possesses an academic background that has allowed for a distinctly international perspective to the practice of law.

Given his work as a contributor to a wide variety of academic and popular publications, as well as his stints as a legal researcher at the Moritz College of Law, as a researcher-in-residence at the Inštitut za Civilizacijo in Kulturo in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and in his on-going capacity as a researcher for the French Laboratoire Européen d’Anticipation Politique, it is only natural that Matthew’s areas of specialization include immigration and naturalization law, human rights law, private international law, and local, national, and international aspects of cultural heritage preservation. These areas of specialization are not pursued, it should be added, to the exclusion of everyday matters like family law, probate law, business law, and intellectual property law, all of which he has gained familiarity with in the course of his legal practice.

A zealous advocate willing to take the time to work through client issues, Matthew is eager to serve clients as an advisor, an advocate, a negotiator, and an evaluator.
